iBDS Digital Technology and Smart Services Joint Stock Company (“iBDS”) is committed to protecting customer information and ensuring transparency throughout the process of providing products and services. This policy sets out the principles governing the collection, use, storage, processing, and protection of personal data and operational data in compliance with applicable laws and relevant professional standards. iBDS periodically reviews and updates this policy to ensure compliance with legal changes while maintaining high standards of information security, data protection, and service quality.

By choosing to use the products and services provided by iBDS, Customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of the insurance products; undertake that all information provided is complete, accurate, and truthful; and consent to iBDS collecting, processing, storing, transmitting, and sharing personal data in accordance with the applicable laws on personal data protection, including but not limited to Decree 356/2023/ND-CP and any amendments, supplements, or replacements thereto (if any), with the following specific provisions:

  1. Customers undertake that they possess full legal capacity, civil act capacity, and lawful authority to provide relevant information and personal data, including but not limited to the personal data of the vehicle owner in cases where the customer is not simultaneously the vehicle owner. Customers guarantee that all information, data, and documents provided on the iONE platform operated by iBDS are lawful, complete, accurate, truthful, and valid at the time of submission, and customers shall bear full responsibility before the law and the relevant data subjects for the information provided.
  2. Customers understand and agree that the provision of incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information may result in the insurance company refusing to issue the Insurance Certificate or iBDS refusing, suspending, or terminating the provision of services without incurring any liability on the part of iBDS.
  3. Customers consent to iBDS collecting, recording, storing, verifying, processing, transmitting, and sharing personal data with Post and Telecommunication Joint Stock Insurance Corporation (PTI) and/or parties lawfully authorized by PTI for the following purposes:
    • (i) Assessment and issuance of Insurance Certificates;
    • (ii) Management of insurance contracts and settlement of insurance benefits;
    • (iii) Compliance with requests from competent state authorities in accordance with the law.
  4. Customers confirm that the submission of information on the platform constitutes an Insurance Application submitted to PTI. Customers further confirm that they have been fully informed, clearly explained to, and have read, understood, and agreed to the Insurance Certificate/Insurance Contract Summary, Insurance Rules, including exclusions of insurance liability and other relevant terms and conditions.
  5. Customers understand and agree that iBDS acts as an institutional insurance agent and is not an insurance company. iBDS does not directly issue Insurance Certificates and shall not be responsible for the contents of the insurance contract, decisions on acceptance or rejection of insurance coverage, payment of insurance benefits by PTI, or any disputes arising in connection with the conclusion and performance of insurance contracts between customers and PTI.
  6. Customers consent to iBDS sharing personal data with DGX Technology Joint Stock Company (the operator of the AMIO platform) for the purposes of management, reconciliation, and synchronization of data related to insurance contracts and customer information during the course of service provision.
  7. Customers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms of Use, Terms for Provision of Insurance Services in the Online Environment, Personal Data Protection Policy, and other relevant policies and regulations published on the iBDS system.
